For over 35 years Barbara has worked with healthcare organizations, professionals, and private practice physicians helping them build their dreams, accelerate their results, and create richer, more fulfilling lives.
Barbara has been on the cutting edge of entrepreneurial work, having owned a successful practice management consulting firm, multiple successful spa and retail boutiques, and in 2009 opened a one-of-a-kind healing and creativity studio. She is a licensed professional in the healing arts and is often sought out to provide coaching and consulting to help others reignite their spark and develop their creativity.
My chosen life’s purpose is to support healthcare professionals in re-kindling their spirit, assisting to design and implement their dreams and guide them to create a new vision for the next phase of their lives.

Standing firm while the world is shaking is a skill healthcare professionals know far too well. However, who is standing firm for them?
Barbara is available for individual and group work as it relates to teaching the Art and Science of Dream Building. Her perspective is thoughtful, decisive, and creative. Over owning her own practice management company for over 20 years, the incongruence was evident, as she worked with individuals, tired of private practice, begging to join a group, while simultaneously working with those who joined groups only to be sorely disappointed and seeking private practice once again. Providers were following the systems, but not following their dreams. Many even lost their purpose to the overwhelming demands of the changing healthcare system.
In 2019, she left private practice leadership and opened “The Nest,” a studio of creativity and healing, specifically because of the trauma she had seen in healthcare. Having lost 2 physicians to suicide in her career and watching her colleagues become disengaged and angry, was the impetus she needed to try and blaze a new trail and create a space where highly accomplished individuals can build more meaningful lives.
Our lives are built one of two ways, by design or by default. A house built without a blueprint will likely not withstand the storm. Barbara feels that every adversity has within it the seeds of equal or greater benefit.
